WORK WIFE. (URBAN DICTIONARY)

A woman with whom you work, whose proximity and frequent interaction leads to her becoming your primary female companion during work hours. She will provide compansionship and support.

If you’re a woman in business in Australia who worked in the public service or corporate world for many years, you’ll remember the importance of having a connection and support women who were there. Someone you would debrief with, someone else who simply got it.

But now you’re on the solopreneur journey. However, as women in business in Australia, we all still need to debrief, connect and feel there are other female entrepreneurs out there who also understand what running a business is like.

You’re not alone because other female entrepreneurs in Australia experience the same joys, frustrations, pains and gains as you do in your business. At Work Wife Wine Time we call these friendships our work wives because these women in business offer a shoulder, a belly laugh, reality checks and reassurance.

BUT MOST OF ALL, THEY GET IT.

Work Wife Wine Time otherwise known as WWWT is an Australian business podcast founded by female entrepreneurs and work wives Rowena Preddy, Mikala Grossë and Gemma Lumicisi.
In late 2021 we farewelled Rowena and welcomed Dora Nikolaou to our team.

DORA

Dora Nikolaou

A wordsmith and marketer who loves helping small businesses nail their messaging and marketing to connect and scale.

GEMMA

Contently Driven

A marketing strategist and word nerd who uses the power of content to provoke peoples emotions into desiring businesses’ services.

MIKALA

Inspired Office

A tech guru, productivity coach and automation queen who devotes herself to using technology in a mindful and meaningful way.

We understand that women running a business means wearing many hats.

As well as other life aspects of running a house, family, pets, reading, forever studying to
advance our skills, exercising, meditating, Netflixing and finding time for a glass of red.

Disclaimer: Work Wife Wine Time promotes the responsible consumption of alcohol…

No wonder we were frustrated, misunderstood, and utterly spent.
It’s not how we initially thought being a female entrepreneur would be, and it’s not why we went into business.

Luckily, we found each other through a female business group which formed genuine connections and business collaborations later morphing into an end of week wine time debrief.

Throughout our wine time, we figured other female entrepreneurs in Australia need this as well. Who also require more time in their day, support, connection, collaboration, and to get towards the freedom we went into business for in the beginning.
